# Github

You will need to set up an application with Github social login provider to get the Client ID and Client Secret which will be required in the config Dashboard.

### How to get Client ID and Client Secret?

1. <mark style="color:purple;">**`Sign in`**</mark> into your [**Github account**](https://github.com/login)

2. Click on your <mark style="color:purple;">**`Profile image`**</mark> **->** Click on the <mark style="color:purple;">**`Settings`**</mark> on the right menu bar

3. Click the <mark style="color:purple;">**`OAuth Apps`**</mark> tab on the left side bar menu **->** Click on the <mark style="color:purple;">**`Register a new application`**</mark> button

4. <mark style="color:purple;">**`Enter all details`**</mark> about your new OAuth application

5. Copy your <mark style="color:purple;">**`Client ID`**</mark> **->** Click on the <mark style="color:purple;">**`Generate a new client secret`**</mark> button

6. Copy your <mark style="color:purple;">**`Client Scret`**</mark>

7. Paste your <mark style="color:purple;">**`Client ID`**</mark> and <mark style="color:purple;">**`Client Secret`**</mark> into the **corresponding fields in the WalliD config Dashboard**
